Las horas extra se cuentan por semana laboral (bloques de 7 días desde tu fecha de inicio), como exige la FLSA. La semana 2 de una hoja bisemanal tiene su propio umbral de 40 h. Deja vacíos los umbrales diarios para la regla federal; marca California para la regla diaria §510.

This calculator does the conversion chain in one place: subtract unpaid breaks, handle overnight shifts, apply rounding if your employer rounds (see the options), convert to decimal hours, and split regular vs overtime hours per workweek.
Rounding, done honestly
Under the 7-minute rule, punches round to the nearest quarter hour: minutes :00–:07 round down, :08–:22 to :15, :23–:37 to :30, :38–:52 to :45, :53+ to the next hour. Rounding must not systematically favor the employer — see our time card rounding guide for how the rules work.
