How to use the weekly sheet

Print the PDF (US Letter), fill one row per day, and enter break times where they happened — the break columns keep unpaid time out of your hours. At week end: add the decimal-hours column, apply overtime beyond 40 hours at 1.5× (use the overtime calculator), and sign.

Weekly periods are the simplest for overtime: the week is the workweek, so hours over 40 in the sheet are exactly the OT hours. Most hourly jobs in construction, healthcare, and restaurants run weekly or biweekly.

Frequently asked questions

Is this weekly timesheet free for business use?
Yes — print as many copies as you need, including for your whole team or client payroll. No attribution required.
Where do overtime hours go?
Anything over 40 hours worked in the week. Enter them in the overtime totals row; multiply by 1.5× your rate. The time card calculator does this split automatically.
